Information technology (IT) is the term used to describe the convergence of Computer Science, Management, and Information Systems. IT emphasizes the management and performance of information technology planning development, implementation, operation, and development of infrastructure to support the process necessary to achieve organizational objectives.
Information technology proudly offers a variety of degrees for our students. These degrees cover a wide range of topics in depth and in a manner reflecting true IT professionalism. Minor in IT - This degree is for students whose major is something other than IT. This degree has basic IT principles and covers most of the basic IT classes. It is meant as an enhancement for the Bachelors degree.
WeBSIT - This program is a collaborative effort between five University System of Georgia colleges and universities and is a wonderful alternative for those students who don’t have time in their busy lives to attend traditional classes on campus. In addition to the online BSIT Degree, we also offer a variety of MSIT courses online with either a full-time or half-time format.
Bachelor of Science in IT - The Bachelor of Science in Information technology degree has the primary objective of meeting the high demand for professional degrees in the strategy, development, and administration of integrated computing, management, and information technology systems. This offering is targeted at the metro Atlanta region, and will serve those students interested in combining computer science, management, and information technology curricula.
Master of Science in IT - The Master of Science in Information technology program is designed to enhance career options for a broad mix of students. The program is designed for those students interested in pursuing a career in the management and performance of information systems planning, development, implementation, and operation.
Certificate Studies - This is for those interested in taking graduate-level courses, but not obtaining an additional degree.
